It depends on the area being treated. Overall, wearing comfortable and modest clothing or even a pair of shorts is appropriate.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, Chiropractors can assess and treat without referral by a medical doctor. However, some health insurers may require a referral from your medical doctor before they authorize coverage of fees.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors. Re-evaluations will be done by the doctor to assess your progress and help you achieve your chiropractic goals.
